Gas Pipe Work – River Medway

Over the next six weeks SGN are going to be painting and wrapping the gas pipe that goes over the river.

Prior to these works taking place the trees on both sides will be cut, this is to enable the work to be carried out, a couple of the trees are growing in such a manner that it could potentially cause damage to gas pipe and disrupt supply on both sides of the river. The tree work starts today however the tree surgeons are aware of the peak times the footbridge is in use and will be trying to avoid shutting the bridge at those times.
